After graduating from the VCA (B.Mus Perf) She worked as a copyist for The Australian Art Orchestra, Ch 9 and for film and Tv soundtracks. Since then she has composed Jazz tunes, Art Music,Contemporary Classical pieces, Film Cues (for studio 51 USA) Film Soundtracks, Electro tracks and Orchestral pieces. Her band Justine Jones and the Playboys of rhythm play her tunes at venues and festivals. Justine has toured in Europe, USA, & nationally throughout Australia, she has played saxophone on other artists albums, and has performed with anyone who is anyone. Justine has produced and presented radio shows, Groovoire 106.7 PBS FM, 1999-2004, Radio Mama 3CR 2004-2008, and Night Owl Jazz,103.5 MBS FM, 2008-11. In 2007-8 she produced & presented TV show, “The Jazz Show” broadcast on Ch31. Justine plays tenor saxophone and is a soloist and leader of Melba Big Band.
