Rachael switched from saxophone to trumpet in 2010 on a dare and has been addicted ever since. Her love of music has led her to a wide variety of ensembles big and small across Melbourne and the world, from brass quintets to concert and theater orchestras. Her enthusiasm for trumpet has taken her some unexpected places including performing in an American style marching band show in Cologne, Germany. Alongside Melba, she is currently involved in the Windjammer quintet as well as several community ensembles.
